The CAGIVA C594, kept in the MOTO DEI MITI collection, is certainly one of the ten most important motorcycles in the history of sports motorcycling. The name of his "C" represents the Cagiva brand, "5" represents the number 500 (the engine displacement) and "94" identifies the year of production and the year of the championship in which he ran.
He was led in the 1994 championship by the legendary American driver John Kocinski, world champion in the 250 class in 1990 and the world SBK in 1997. First rider in the history of motorcycling to win a world championship with both prototype motorcycles and those derived from series production.
The CAGIVA C594, led by the strong Kocinski, came 3rd in the world championship standings, reaching the podium 7 times. For the Italian company it was the best season since its debut in the world championship class 500 starting in 1980, but it was also the last season, because at the end of 1994 he decided to retire from racing.
