The establishment, showcases an collection of treasured assets of the Wynyard community. The most prestigious is the Ransley Veteran Car Collection. As a Wynyard resident, Mr Ransley shares his world class collection of locally restored Ford motor vehicles with over 40,000 visitors a year. The exhibition of over 14 vehicles includes the equal oldest Ford in the world, the 1903 Model A, which toured 58 locations around Australia covering more than 28,000kms to celebrate Ford’s centenary year in 2003.
Changing exhibitions showcase the work of local artists and groups including paintings, sculptures, photographs, textiles and much more.
With over 40 enthusiastic and knowledegble volunteers spending time at the centre visitors can be sure of a friendly and warm welcome.
