COMP is the acronym of "Poggi motorcycle collection", a true museum of racing motorcycles. The entrepreneur Pierluigi Poggi has created in Villanova di Castenaso (province of Bologna) a motorcycle collection dedicated to Yamaha that has no equal in Europe. COMP was born in 2011 but the official opening dates back to 2012 in the presence of the drivers Luca Cadalora, Giacomo Agostini and Andrea Dovizioso.
On display you can see real vintage relics, such as a Yamaha 250cc YDS1R of 1959 recovered none other than in Australia, by the pilot Andrew Mc Donnell, a series of Yamaha TZ of different displacements, or the latest M1 of Valentino Rossi (with the versions of 2004 and 2005) and of Jorge Lorenzo of 2010, the YZR-M1 2012 of Dovizioso and much more.
