In the MOTO DEI MITI collection created by the entrepreneur and great motorcycle enthusiast Genesio Bevilacqua, the best representation of motorcycle racing in the last 40 years is on display, a dream place for every fan of the racing world, where they can be admired up close over 100 motorcycles.
Genesio Bevilacqua, is the founder of the Althea Racing Team , based in Civita Castellana . The activity began in 2007 with the participation in the Supersport World Championship races with the Honda CBR 600RR. The next two years, again with Honda, the team also debuted in the Superbike World Championship and Superstock 1000 FIM Cup. In the following years, the Althea Racing team achieves very important goals, such as the victory of the 2011 Superbike World Championship with the driver Carlos Checa on the Ducati, and the victory of the Superstock 1000 World Championship in 2011 with the rider Davide Giuliano and in 2016 with the pilot Raffaele De Rosa.
The Moto dei Miti collection was made by Genesio Bevilacqua, with the creation of a space dedicated to the memory of his great friend and champion Paolo Pileri. Following the victory of the SBK World Championship in 2011, a space was dedicated to the driver Carlos Checa and his bikes. This led to the development of the current collection.
You can see legendary motorcycles, including John Kocinski's Cagiva 500 V594, Loris Capirossi's Ducati GP 05, 2007 and 2008 Ducati GP of Casey Stoner GP, the Ducati of Team Althea with which he ran and won Carlos Checa, the Suzuki RG 500 with which Marco Lucchinelli won the 1981 World Championship, Honda NSR 250 and RS 125 of Loris Capirossi's world champion, and many more.
