The museum is located in Milwaukee and was inaugurated on 12 July 2008, covers an area of 12.000 square meters and adds a new dimension to the Harley-Davidson Experience. Visitors can savor the freedom, complicity and pride experienced every time a motorcyclist rides his Harley-Davidson.
Each exhibition is a testimony of these legendary motorcycles, and of the people who built them. It is wonderful to walk among the exhibitions that narrate the history and the Harley-Davidson culture, also admiring the motorcycle that is often called "serial number one". Dating back to the early years of the company, this is the oldest Harley-Davidson motorcycle in the world.
In addition to the fantastic collection of motorcycles, the stories are illustrated by photos, videos, clothing, rare documents and other objects. You can take a look at a part of the archives that was never opened before to the public, which houses more than 450 motorcycles and thousands of objects, which the archival staff illustrate for exhibitions.
