Honda Collection Hall opened in 1998, is not a simple museum, but is the display of many products built or designed by Honda, about three hundred objects, including motorcycles, cars, racing cars and faithfully restored robots. It is located inside the Motegi Twin Ring circuit, two hours outside of Tokyo. For ¥ 1000 you can access the Motegi Twin Ring complex, and entry to the Honda Collection Hall is free. From the outside it is a normal building, but once inside you will find the Honda paradise. In the entry plan, there is in the souvenir shop, the restaurant and the history of robotics experiments. On the second floor all the numerous motorcycles and cars are exhibited, both road and racing.
A true motorsport cathedral, in which Honda jealously guards all the family jewels, some of which have literally written the history of motorcycling (51 world championships won between the 125, 250, 500, MotoGP, SBK and Supersport classes) and the Formula 1.
You can find the forst RA271, the RA272s of 1965 with which Honda obtained the first victory in Formula 1, the RA300 of John Surtees, up to the Williams FW09 equipped with a Honda Turbo engine driven by Keke Rosberg in 1984, and the FW11 entrusted to Piquet and Mansell in 1986 equipped with a 1500cc doubble turbo Honda engine. The McLaren MP4/7 with which Ayrton Senna ran the 1992 season with a 12-cylinder Honda engine, and many other splendid cars from Honda history. The world champion motorcycles with Freddie Spenser in 1983, Michael Doohan's GP500, the bikes with which Valentino Rossi won in 2001, 2002 and 2003 until the last MotoGP with which he won Marc Marquez in 2018.
